Why a payment does not go through
A payment passes through several parties at once. At one end is your device and your account on Dukat.bet, in the middle the payment provider, and at the other end your bank. It is enough for one of these links not to approve something, and the transaction stops.
It is important to know that a decline is not a punishment or a sign that something is seriously wrong with your account. It is a common security response that protects your money. The system would rather pause a payment than let something suspicious through.
The cause is almost always on one of three levels: in the details you entered, in your bank's settings, or in the state of your account. When you work from the simplest to the most complex, you will solve most problems yourself in a matter of moments.
When a deposit is declined
With a deposit, the money moves from you to the gaming account, so your bank or card provider has the main say. If a payment does not go through, first check the very basics.
Check whether you entered the correct card number, expiry date, and security code, and whether you have enough funds in your account. It is also common for a bank to block payments to online gaming services, or for a card not to be unlocked for internet transactions.
If you use a payment that requires confirmation in your bank's mobile app, complete it in time. An unconfirmed or expired authorisation is one of the most common reasons a deposit fails. You will find an overview of the available options and their nature on the Deposits page.
When a withdrawal is delayed or declined
A withdrawal is more sensitive than a deposit, because the money leaves the account. It therefore goes through processing and review, and this is where most hitches arise.
The most common reason is unfinished identity verification. Until it is done, a withdrawal request usually cannot go any further. A mismatch in details weighs in just as much, for example when the name on the account does not match the payment method holder's name.
Trying to withdraw to a different method than the one you deposited with also plays a role, as does withdrawing before meeting the terms of an active bonus. We cover the whole course of a request and the common terms on the Withdrawals page.
The problem and what to check
The following table summarises typical situations and the first step worth taking. Take it as quick orientation, not a binding list.
| Problem | What to check |
|---|---|
| Card deposit does not go through | Card details, balance, internet payments enabled |
| Bank declines the payment | Bank limit, gaming services blocked, confirmation in the app |
| Withdrawal keeps processing | Account verification status and completeness of details |
| Withdrawal was declined | Name and method match, bonus terms met |
| Amount is wrong or missing | Transaction history in the cashier and status with the provider |
| Payment hangs with no response | Connection quality and whether the session was interrupted |
If even after this check you cannot tell where the hitch is, do not stay with guesses. Only support can give you precise details for your case.
A checklist before trying again
Before you repeat a payment, go through a few points. They will save you another decline and needless frustration.
- Are the card or method details entered exactly and without typos?
- Do you have enough funds, and are you not at your bank's daily limit?
- Is your verification completed and your documents approved?
- Does the name on the account match the payment method holder?
- Are you withdrawing to the same type of method you deposited with?
- Do you have a stable connection and an up-to-date browser?
When you answer yes to all these questions and the payment still does not go through, the cause usually no longer lies on your side. That is when it is right to escalate the matter and have it checked.
When to contact support
Support is here for situations you cannot check yourself. There is no point repeating a payment endlessly if something is blocking it on the system's or the bank's side.
Reach out if the amount left your account but did not appear in your gaming account, if a withdrawal hangs for an unreasonably long time with no change in status, or if you get an error message you do not understand. It also helps when you are not sure whether everything is in order with your verification or bonus.
When you get in touch, have the basic details to hand: the approximate time of the transaction, the amount, the method used, and the wording of any error. The more precise the information you provide, the faster the case can be resolved. You will find the channels and the procedure on the Contact page. Never send sensitive details, such as your full card number or password, and support will not ask you for them either.
